Joshua Schultz is an architect with expertise in sustainable design and historic preservation, holding advanced degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Thomas Jefferson University, along with a certification from UC Berkeley. He founded The Bauhaus, an award-winning studio inspired by the avant-garde Bauhaus Movement, merging art and architecture. Joshua's work includes leading contributions such as Walnut Street in Pasadena, Southern California’s first net-zero affordable housing project. His research on building materials has been widely published and cited, including by the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. He also developed Dalia, an app for real-time building materials data, featured in the Humans of AI series. Joshua is a Registered Architect in New York and Pennsylvania, and actively contributes to the community through Pasadena Heritage and the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art.
